Students in APW High School’s Business Ownership class recently held an entrepreneurial trade fair at their school.
Students came up with potential business ventures, set up tables with presentation materials, and pitched their ideas to staff members and fellow students. Ideas such as GPS dog collars, special phone cases, and personal training courses were a few of the ventures on display.
“This was a great event for the students,” said Business Teacher Amy DeJohn. “It allowed them to really put some of their ideas into practice and get a look into what being a business owner is like. It taught them a lot of valuable skills in the process as well. I am very proud of them and how self-sufficient they were during this event.”
