School Based Health Center
The School Based Health Center has been serving the health care needs of enrolled High School students since 2008. The center is a state funded health care facility and is an extension of Northern Oswego County Health Services, Inc.
All students who attend the APW High School are eligible for this program. There are no out of pocket expenses for services performed at the School Based Health Center. If the enrolled student has health insurance, it will be billed directly. Any co-pay or deductible will be covered by the School Based Health Center Program, to again, avoid an out of pocket expense for the parent or guardian. Services performed outside of the health center, such as lab testing, will be billed directly by the outside agency.
School Based Health Center Hours follow the school schedule. When the center is closed, patients are encouraged to contact their Primary Care Provider or the Pulaski Health Center at (315) 298-6564.
Some of the services available include: Comprehensive Physical Exams, diagnosis and treatment of an illness or injury, allergy injections, immunizations, and counseling services.
