Survey for Jr./Sr. High School Courses
APW Jr./Sr. High School is looking to offer new and exciting programs and courses to our students. We would like your input on what type of classes students would enjoy and what you think would be most helpful in preparing for college and careers.
Please complete the survey form to let us know which classes you would like to see offered here at APW by Friday, March 5.
Disclaimer: Selection of a course does not guarantee it will be offered. The District will use the information gathered via this survey for upcoming and long-term program planning. -
Kindergarten and UPK Registration
Kindergarten registration will occur through April 16 and Universal Pre-K registration has been extended until April 2. For information, or to receive a registration packet, please call the District Registrar at (315) 625-5275.

Conservation Club Fundraisers
The APW Junior-Senior High School's Conservation Club will do several different fundraisers this spring. Each month the club will feature a different mask designed by a student with the proceeds going to a different conservation group. The club will also host a reusable water bottle fundraiser and a keychain fundraiser. Money can be dropped off at school or mailed in to Miss Halsey. MONEY NEEDS TO BE TURNED IN BEFORE WE ORDER SO BY March 12th. Items should be in by March 26th and will be able to be picked up at the Jr/Sr HS. Checks can be made out to APWECAF with Conservation Club in the memo. Contact Miss Halsey at jhalsey@apw.cnyric.org if you have any questions.

New Athletic Online Registration Through Family ID
APW is excited to announce that we are now offering the convenience of online registration for athletics through Family ID!

APW After School Virtual Tutoring Program
Jr./Sr. High School: Please check out the attached flier that highlights the program and weekly schedule. The teacher you connect with may not be your actual teacher, but they will be a teacher who teaches the subject and they will do their very best to assist you anyway that they can!Elementary School: We will be offering tutoring/instructional support for students K-6 after hours Monday through Thursday. Designated classroom teachers will be providing the tutoring virtually in an effort to provide additional instructional support. Your child’s classroom teacher will provide more specific information on this as well as the links you will need to access the tutoring. See the information letter.

Hello APW parents:
Please fill out the CEP (Community Eligibility Program) application and return to the main office of your child's school.We run the risk of losing our eligibility for free Breakfast and Lunch for students if we do not receive this from every household.

Trap Club Sign-Ups
If you are interested in being a part of the APW Trap Club for the Spring of 2021, please complete this form.
*Students must be at least 12 years of age by March 22, 2021
*Hunter Safety course must be completed or take and pass the SAFE class through nyclaytarget.com prior to participating
*Cost to participate is $35. Students will register on their own through nyclaytarget.com. Registration begins on February 3 and ends on March 29 at noon.
*Students must have their own transportation to Toad Harbor Rod and Gun Club.
*Shooting takes place on Sundays and Monday. Students will be assigned time slots to be at the club to reduce the number of students on the property.
*The sign-up information sheet has specific insturctions on how to join.

Science Olympiad
The Science Olympiad team is starting again. The Science Olympiad is a competition where students compete is various science related events against other schools. There are all sorts of events in every field of science including some technology and engineering related events. To join, select the Science Olympiad Google Classroom below:

Core Values Survey
APW Central School District is starting a project to develop the school district’s mission, vision and a strategic plan. The first step is to adopt core values. These values will help focus future decision-making.
We want to thank you everyone who participated in the recent survey. The school board was presented with the survey results and will be using this and other data to create our Core Values, Vision and Mission statements for the district.

Backpack Program Enrollment Underway
We're excited to resume our Backpack Program again this school year! This effort provides our APW CSD families in need with food assistance during weekends and school breaks. Enroll today!

APW BOE Committee Meetings:
The APW BOE Committees will meet with "limited in-person attendance by reservation only". Masks will be mandatory at all times and six foot social distancing must also be observed. You will receive an email from the District Clerk confirming your RSVP. If you do not receive an email from the District Clerk, you will not be allowed to attend the meeting. Any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact the District Clerk at 315-625-5251.
